Licensees who hold a permit to administer general anesthesia, deep sedation, parenteral sedation, or oral sedation and are required to obtain continuing education

All dentists in the state of Arizona are required to have 3 hours in CPR/ACLS/PALS, 3 hours in chemical dependency (tobacco cessation), 3 hours in infectious disease control, 3 hours in ethics or Arizona dental jurisprudence and licensees who hold a permit to administer general anesthesia, deep sedation, parenteral sedation, or oral sedation and are required to obtain continuing education.

All dental hygienists in the state of Arizona are required to have 2 hours in CPR/ACLS/PALS, 3 hours in chemical dependency (tobacco cessation), 3 hours in infectious disease control, 3 hours in ethics, and 3 hours in risk management.

A total of 32 CEs is required for each license renewal period.

A total of 54 CEs is required for each license renewal period.
