Dentist
- The minimum continuing education requirement for dentists licensed in Arkansas will be 50 CEUs for every 2 year reporting period.
- 1) All dentists must report the completion of at least 1 hour of continuing education dealing with infection control for the biennial license renewal.
- 2) A current certification in the healthcare provider level of CPR is required.
Dental Hygienist
- The requirement for minimum continuing education for Arkansas licensed dental hygienists will be 40 CEUs for every 2 year reporting period.
- 1) All dental hygienists must report completion of at least 1 hour of continuing education hours dealing with infection control for the biennial license renewal.
- 2) A current certification in the healthcare provider level of CPR is required.
Dental Assistant
- The requirement for minimum continuing education for Arkansas licensed dental assistants will be 2 CEUs for every 2 year reporting period.
- 1) All registered dental assistants who hold an expanded duty permit from the Arkansas State Board of Dental Examiners must report completion of at least 2 hours of continuing education dealing with infection control for the biennial license renewal of the permit.
- 2) A current certification in the healthcare provider level of CPR is required.
