Online + Hands-On Training. Master coronal polishing techniques with slow-speed handpiece, prophy cup, and occlusal polishing brush, plus learn pit and fissure sealant placement on models. Covers ethics, jurisprudence, infection control, anatomy, and dental emergencies. Participants must place at least six sealants under dentist supervision after completion and follow OSHA guidelines for PPE.

Eligibility Requirements

To enroll, participants must meet the following criteria:

Have 2,000 hours (1 year) of clinical dental assisting experience

OR meet one of the following alternatives:

Have completed a CODA-accredited dental assisting program

✓

Hold a current DANB Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certification
